And, at the time, the present Via De Amicis was just one of the canals surrounding Milano. The backside, overlooking Via Caminadella, is more recent, having been built at the beginning of 1900. It was one of the small romantic hotels in the Nauigli district. In 1987, after a long, radical renovation the Hotel Milano was born; and became the smallest deluxe hotel in town.
